Leone has worked in Exeter for the past 10 years as an independent child therapist with the majority of client referrals coming from the Kinship Care team. She is also an approved service provider for Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund.

Matt has over 20 years experience delivering overseas aid programmes across sub-Saharan Africa. Since returning to the UK, he has engaged in and facilitated a range of therapeutic men’s and boys groups, qualified as a Forest School Leader and has  completed his training  to become  an Advanced Wilderness Therapy practitioner.

With a background in law and business, Daphne's focus has been on social business, sustainability and conscious leadership since 2008. 


Next to running the Exeter Social Enterprise Network for 4 years, she has been practising and teaching Relational Awareness since 2012. Daphne currently works as a Life & Business Coach as well as a Group Facilitator.

Daisy is one of our Therapeutic Forest School Leaders. She has worked for many years, first as a teacher, then as a therapist at an all outdoors SEN school.


Next to her role at Wild Hearts, Daisy works part-time at The Deaf Academy.

Additionally, Daisy works as a Play Therapist within the mid-Devon area. She is particularly passionate about

Additionally, Daisy works as a Play Therapist within the mid-Devon area. She is particularly passionate about helping learners with SEN within the therapy room. Daisy is currently working towards a qualification in British Sign Language.

As another of our Therapeutic Forest School Leaders, Tara combines her extensive experience as a Certified Play Therapist, Forest school Leader and Play Worker. 

Tara finds it a privilege and a joy to witness countless moments of children growing and connecting with nature through Play. Since specialising in the therapeutic relationship, she is particularly in awe of what the psyche and children are capable of.


Next to her role at Wild Hearts, Tara runs her Play Therapy practice in South Devon.

Matt C provides 1-on-1 support at our Holiday Clubs encompassing all his skills, knowledge and achievements up to now. His love for nurturing and play stems from his passion for creative arts, food and music. He enjoys learning for the children but more importantly, with them.

Matt C provides 1-on-1 support at our Holiday Clubs encompassing all his skills, knowledge and achievements up to now. His love for nurturing and play stems from his passion for creative arts, food and music. He enjoys learning for the children but more importantly, with them. 


Matt has over a decade of experience as an Early Years Room Manager, Lead Forest school teacher, Ofsted Mentor and Head Chef in London. Next to his part-time role at Wild Hearts, Matt works full-time at The Outdoors School, an independent special school, as a woodland learning support assistant.

Zoe' is one of our general Forest School Leaders. After 3 years in the child-centred Waldorf Steiner Education, Zoe qualified in 2021 as a Forest School Leader. She is a full-time Forest School Lead at a primary and secondary school as well as the founder of Child Of The Wild, an Exeter-based Forest Holiday Club.


Zoe loves to climb, kayak

Zoe loves to climb, kayak and camp by the coast. Having grown up on a sheep and cattle farm, she is still the happiest spending most of her time outdoors, becoming part of the scenery.

Matt M is Wild Hearts' mentee and assistant forest school leader in training. As a person with direct experience of the British care system himself, he easily fosters a uniquely valuable connection with the children.

Matt M is Wild Hearts' mentee and assistant forest school leader in training. As a person with direct experience of the British care system himself, he easily fosters a uniquely valuable connection with the children.


Matt is passionate about working in a caring role to support others. New to forest school, he is learning as he goes. Matt holds paediatric first aid and forest school first aid qualifications as well as food hygiene level 2 and has completed the Government approved young people and mental health certificate.
